Challenge

Deliver the story within the stats to international basketball via a system of responsive web pages and modules. These pages would be used on all official NBA licensed sites around the world, in 19 languages and over 60 countries.

Strategy

• Elevate the visuals around players and teams within a modular system.

• Put stats in context with quick comparison tools and trends over time.

• Provide easy access to head-to-head comparisons from anywhere on the site.

Execution

Clean, simple and systematic, we built a UI Kit from which to support over 60 existing country websites and support future expansion. Universal iconography and color systems simplified filtering and comparison, and layouts accommodated responsiveness as well as translation into 19 languages. We executed and shipped the entire system in 14 weeks and without a single comp.
